Biography
Forming in Portland in 1994, THE DANDY WARHOLS released their debut ‘Dandy Warhols Rule Ok’ 1995. Their next three albums ‘The ‘Dandy Warhols Come Down’ (1997), ‘Thirteen Tales From Urban Bohemia’ (2000) and ‘Welcome To The Monkey House’ (2003) put the band on the charts, on TV and in the spotlight with international hits like “Not If You Were The Last Junkie on Earth” and “Bohemian Like You.”
After eighteen years together, chart-topping singles and albums and several Australian tours, THE DANDY WARHOLS released their new album, ‘This Machine’. ‘This Machine’ is the Dandy’s eight official studio album and was recorded over the course of 2011 at THE DANDY WARHOLS’ rock clubhouse / entertainment megaplex / studio, The Odditorium. The band recorded the album with longtime engineer and sometimes producer Jeremy Sherrer. Frontman Courtney Taylor-Taylor describes this record as “stripped down, woody and extremely guitar centric”.
