HARVEST adds a touch of reggae and soul to line-up!

The musical palette for next month’s inaugural Harvest festival just got even tastier with the addition of legendary reggae TROJAN SOUND SYSTEM and THE HERBALISER DJs – both of whom will be playing in the beautiful outdoor surrounds of The Secret Garden.

TROJAN SOUND SYSTEM is an official offshoot of the legendary reggae label Trojan Records, and this is the first time it’s official travelling Sound System travels to Australia. They will play all three legs of Harvest with a mix of DJs and MCs performing some of the greatest reggae music ever released, and as ever, generating a brilliant laid back party atmosphere.

THE HERBALISER DJs are Londoners Jake Wherry and Ollie Teeba, stalworths of the acclaimedchill/jazz/soul/hiphop label Ninja Tunes. Their live band is perhaps best described as blending the best bits of jazz and hiphop and everything in between; and the DJ sets which they’ll be playing at Harvest will be a demonstration of all the highlights of their realm of musical influences.

Other acts who will be performing at The Secret Garden area at Harvest include original members of The Family Stone (following their main stage live band show), Freakout DJs, DJ Obliveous, DJ Lob, Siberia DJs, Randall Stagg and PhDJ.

Expect The Secret Garden area to put up a serious fight in the battle amongst Harvest’s various areas to create the best atmosphere at the festival.
